Welcome to my kitchen! My name is Kelly, owner and founder of The Anthony Kitchen. I’m a professional blogger, baker, writer, and food photographer. I’m also a born-and-bred Texan, where our home is a revolving door and we gladly welcome family and friends to the table.
I created The Anthony Kitchen (TAK for short) in 2010 as an at-home bakery, specializing in cookies and bars. My love for food science and a stubborn pursuit of the perfect bake enabled me to turn a passionate hobby into a profitable business.
In 2016, I took that same culinary drive to the savory side of food and The Anthony Kitchen went from at-home bakery to online food blog. Since then, I've written, photographed, and published over 800 well-tested recipes, designed to deliver great food from scratch regardless of your skill level.
Through the website and social media platforms, TAK reaches millions of people each month. Our content has been featured in Huffpost, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Buzzfeed, The Daily Meal, TheKitchn.com, and Stylecaster. I have regularly contributed to televised cooking segments for local CBS affiliate KBTX and PBS station as their go-to food gal, as well as the featured food columnist for Bryan-College Station’s newspaper, The Eagle.
All my recipes have been carefully crafted for practical family life and easy hosting, with step-by-step photos to help you along the way. My mission is to turn scratch-made food into easy-to-follow recipes.
The cost of your ingredients and the cost of your time matter to me. I’m thankful you’re here, and I can’t wait to see your dinner table triumphs!
THE FOOD
With over a decade of recipe development experience, I’ve published over 800 homemade, quality-tested recipes. Finding the most efficient route to the best dish is by far my favorite part of the job. You can easily access all of them via our Recipe Index!
I both love and specialize in comfort food. You'll find many of my recipes boast a hearty Southern influence, with a heavy emphasis on Texas cuisine. Tex-Mex, anyone? And, of course, thanks to those at-home bakery origins, you’ll also find an abundance of baked goods and holiday treats at your fingertips.
These are recipes you can trust, perfect for both the dinner table as well as entertaining. There are so many dishes I love but I definitely have some favorites. Here are my most loved recipes from The Anthony Kitchen.

MORE ABOUT KELLY
Family | I am a wife and mom of two precious girls. Patches, our family Wheaton Terrier, is usually at my side while writing recipes or photographing. I met my husband while studying at Texas A&M University, pursuing a degree in Communications. We have called Bryan-College Station our home ever since, never leaving since our college days.
Faith | I love Jesus and have a huge passion for worship and women’s ministry. I serve on the worship team at our home church, as well as in the women’s ministry.
Lifestyle | I’m obsessed with an organized space and creating efficient systems in the home, especially the kitchen. I believe it adds to the execution and success of a dish.
Creating a space that feels like home to everyone who walks in through our doors is our family's goal. It is just as important as the dishes we put on the table -- a space that says, "You are welcome here."
