Chocolatey and rich with spice, this cocktail is the perfect beginning, or ending, to any meal.
Two things I’m addicted to? Chocolate (check) and coffee (check).
I am a lover of all things chocolate, always have been. This my friends is something that cannot be denied. Whether it’s packaged in a cookie, cake or brownie, I’ll take it. And while I can’t say I’ve loved it since childhood, I’m also a pretty big fan of coffee, espresso and all the like. I’ve got two little ones at my feet, an endless to-do list. Naturally, I’m tired. And, while I’m relieved to say I’m not addicted to the stuff, I sure don’t mind a little firewater every now and again. I did mention I had two kids, right? This cocktail is perfect for any chocolate or coffee-loving, tired momma (or daddy) who just needs a sweet little retreat or a much needed time out.

Have ready a chilled martini glass. If desired, drizzle the inside of a glass with chocolate syrup and set aside. Add the ingredients to an iced shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour contents of the shaker into chilled glass, garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve.
