SPICES  YOU'LL NEED:

CUMIN GARLIC POWDER SALT ONION POWDER DRIED OREGANO CHILI POWDER

IN A FOOD PROCESSOR ADD TOMATO SAUCE, TOMATO PASTE, CHIPOTLES IN ADOBO AND SPICES.  PROCESS UNTIL SMOOTH.

ADD OIL TO A LARGE SAUTE PAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT. ONCE THE OIL IS HOT SPRINKLE THE FLOUR IN AND WHISK UNTIL FLOUR IS MOISTENED.

ADD THE CHICKEN BROTH ONE SPLASH AT A TIME, WHISKING AFTER EACH ADDITION.

ADD THE TOMATO MIXTURE AND WHISK TO COMBINE.

ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO SIMMER FOR ABOUT 5-7 MINUTES UNTIL SLIGHTLY THICKENED.

SERVE OVER ENCHILADAS OR TAMALES AND ENJOY.
