ADD FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA AND SALT TO A MIXING BOWL AND WHISK TO COMBINE.

CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR WITH A HAND MIXER UNTIL FLUFFY.

ADD THE EGG AND EGG YOLK, AND MIX WELL.  THEN ADD THE YELLOW FOOD COLORING.

THEN, ADD THE LEMON ZEST, LEMON JUICE,AND VANILLA EXTRACT,

ADD THE DRY INGREDIENTS TO THE WET AND MIX UNTIL  INCORPORATED.

SCOOP HEAPING TABLESPOON-SIZED MOUNDS OF DOUGH, ROLL INTO A BALL, AND ROLL THE TOPS IN THE REMAINING SUGAR.

BAKE FOR 8-10  MINUTES.
