Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves to a mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.

Cream butter and sugar in a stand mixer until lightened in color and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time and mix after each addition. Add the vanilla and the pumpkin and mix until combined.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.

Scoop heaping tablespoon-sized mounds of dough and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mix.

Bake for 13-15 minutes
