Cook the tortellini according to package directions and set aside.

Melt butter in a large sauté pan. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Sprinkle flour over the garlic and stir until coated.

Add the cream, a splash at a time, stirring after each addition.

Stream in the milk, whisking all the while, and simmer 5 minutes. Stir occasionally until slightly thickened.

Add Parmesan, salt, and pepper, and stir once more.

Add the tortellini to the sauce and stir to coat.

Serve and enjoy!
