  • 2/3 cup cherry pie filling
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • 12 ounces (1 1/2 package) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt (e.g. Yoplait French Vanilla)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  1. Add the cherry pie, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to a small bowl and stir to combine. Set aside until ready to use.

  2. Add the cream cheese and powdered sugar to a large mixing bowl. Using a handheld mixer, mix on medium-high speed until smooth and well-blended.  Add the yogurt, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt, and mix again.

  3. Transfer to a 3-cup-capacity serving vessel or pie dish and smooth to the edges. Add the cherry pie filling to the center and spread outward. Serve and enjoy.
