Ingredients
¾cupgranulated sugar
¼cupunsweetened cocoa powder
3tablespoonsall-purpose flour
⅛teaspoonfine sea salt
1 ½cupwhole milk
2tablespoonsunsalted butter
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
Biscuits, for serving
Instructions
Add sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt to a medium saucepan and whisk to combine.
Place the pan over medium heat, and very slowly, stream in the milk, whisking all the while.
Allow the mixture to reach a simmer. Then, reduce the heat to maintain a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring often to keep the bottom of the pan from scorching.
Once the Chocolate Gravy has thickened, remove it from the heat and add the butter and vanilla. Stir until melted.
