Ingredients
1 ½pound (about 5 cups or 24 ounces)fresh green beans,washed, trimmed and cut in half
4slicesthick-cut bacon,diced
1yellow onion,finely diced
2clovesgarlic, finely chopped
4cups unsalted chicken broth
3teaspoonsKosher salt
½teaspoonblack pepper
Pinch red pepper flakes
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a slow cooker and stir.
Cover and cook for 4 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low, stirring halfway through the cooking time if able.
