Ingredients
½cupsour cream
1cuphalf-and-half
8 large eggs
1pound packageSmithfield® Anytime Favorites™ Diced Ham
4green onions, sliced
2 ½cupsfreshly grated cheddar cheese, separated
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Generous pinch of salt
1(32 ounce)package of frozen tater tots
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F with a rack in the center and have ready a greased 9x13" casserole dish.
Add the sour cream to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the half-and-half in slowly, whisking all the while. Next, add the eggs and whisk until all of the egg yolks are broken up and the mixture is homogenous. Set aside.
Pat the diced ham dry with paper towels and add to the egg mixture, along with the sliced green onions, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, pepper, and salt. Stir to combine and pour the mixture into the casserole dish.
Scatter the frozen tater tots across the top and bake for 60 minutes, uncovered.
After the 60 minutes is up, add the remaining cheddar cheese and bake for 5 minutes more. Allow to cool slightly, serve and enjoy.
