Ingredients
2-3apples, sliced(or use pomegranate or pears)
2tablespoonslemon juicefresh squeezed
8ouncesaged White Cheddar, sliced
8ouncesWensleydale with cranberries
8ouncesgoat cheese
¼cupjam or fruit spread(use pear, fig, bacon, or pomegranate jam)
2cupsgrapes
1(4 ounce)package water crackers
½(14 ounce)package ginger snaps, cranberry almond thins, or your homemade favorite fall cookie
⅓cupdried cranberries
1cupsalted nuts
Instructions
If you are using sliced apples or pears, slice the fruit into ¼" thick slices and transfer to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Top with a cup or so of ice and fill with water. Stir in the lemon juice and set aside to sit for 10-15 minutes.
On a large serving platter or board, add the sliced Cheddar, the Wensleydale, and the goat cheese to the board.
Add the jam either on top of the goat cheese or place it in a small condiment bowl and set it on the board.
Arrange the crackers and cookies around the cheeses, followed by the grapes and sliced fruit (patted dry with a clean kitchen towel).
Add the cranberries and nuts to the board, filling in any gaps. Alternatively, you could put them in small condiment bowls and arrange on the board to your liking. Serve and enjoy!
